	First thing:     Outlook Express 4.0 is not Y2K compliant software.     Outlook Express 4.0 with ServicePak 2 installed is Y2K compliant, but there will be Java errors if you still have the corresponding Internet Explorer (web browser) version 4.0 installed.     Internet Explorer (web browser) 5.0 and 5.01 will work, but Microsoft has the wrong version of Java in it, which means you will not be able to use it with Banking websites, etc.     The best thing to do is to install Internet Explorer version 6.0 (with servicepak 2) to be fully compatible with all websites, Banking and Investment institutions, etc.

Open up Outlook Express Click on Tools Click on Accounts Click on the Mail Tab. You will see existing email accounts. If you want to have No Spam in your mailbox, then remove all existing accounts and use only your new @1usa.net account. To create a new email identity, click on the Add button. Capitalization is not important. To edit an existing account (to fix the password, etc) double-click on the account name.

General Tab On the General tab: Under Mail Account, type in your Email address with the @ sign. Under User Information: Name: Type in the name that you want people to see when they read your emails. This line can have spaces in it. Organization: This is usually blank, unless you want to place your company name in here. Email Address: Place your new @1usa.net email address in here. No spaces. Capitalization is not important. (Email Addresses are assigned by 1USA; you can't just pick one out of the blue.) Reply Address: Let this blank. Include this account when doing a full send and receive.

Servers Tab On the Servers Tab: Both the SMTP and POP3 fields are Mail.1USA.Net The Account Name field is your Account Name.    Capitalization is important. Use all lower case Account names are provided to you by 1USA.   Just choosing any account name out of the blue will not work. Type in your password. Check the box "My server requires authentication".

Connection Tab On the Connection Tab: Let it unclicked so it connects to the email server using the existing connection. If you wish to force a separate connection, click on the box and then select 1USA.COM in the window. This will force a Disconnect then a Reconnect using the specific Dialer setup. This is useful if you are a subscriber to multiple ISP services and you want to force it to use the 1USA connection when retrieving emails.
