1USA has had web-based email since 1996. Other ISPs have had it since 1998. And nowdays, more than 3,000 webistes
offer web-based email.
Let's say you're visiting a friend out of state and you'd like to log on and get your email.....
or you're checking your email from a computer at work...
Fire up their web browser.
Type in http://home.1usa.com/webmail/
insert your 1USA Email Address and Password
and read or send your email or send outgoing email from anyone else's computer.
It's that easy.
If you prefer the old ANSI text-based menu:
Type in "telnet://members.1usa.com" and press the <enter> key. This will take you to our ANSI menu. The purpose of this ANSI menu is to help people who's computers have crashed and they need to re-install some internet software again.
Type in your UserID and Password, then type in "/GO EMAIL" to go to the email menu. You can read all the mail that's here for you on the server. Depending on your computer's settings, there may be emails from 30 or 45 days ago. To read your NEW mail, select "L" for last vs. "F" for first.
